Tell us a little about your professional background.
I have been working in the aviation industry for the past 10 years. My positions have included A&P Mechanic, AOG Technician, Planning Manager, and finally, specializing in Salesforce. I came to the US in 2010 to complete a Bachelors in Aviation, and eventually pursued a double Masters in Project Management and Learning and Educational Technology.
How did you get into aviation?
After finishing college in India, I attended an aviation seminar and was fascinated. I wanted to learn more about airplanes, and eventually that lead me into aviation

What drew you to the company?
My professional journey took me from aviation mechanics to Salesforce, so AvSight seemed like a perfect fit. I get to work on Salesforce based aviation maintenance software.
What aspect of your job do you get most excited about?
I love the challenge of doing work that hasn’t been done before. I enjoy figuring out and resolving problems with unique solutions.
What are your biggest challenges?
Initially it was difficult to transition from working as a mechanic to doing computer based work. The work environments and cultures are very different.

What’s your perfect day off?
Starting my day off with tea and yoga!
Do you have any hobbies?
I love to travel, do outdoor sports, and hike. It’s always exciting to explore new trails, food, and places.
Where’s your favorite place to travel?
Aruba – the beaches are incredibly peaceful and make for a perfect vacation. There are also great water sports and nightlife. Plus, an amazing food experience. It’s definitely worth traveling to again.
Any family or pets?
I have two younger brothers – one here in the states and one in Australia. I love other peoples’ pets, but don’t have any myself.
