Basic Information and Getting There
When are the Training Sessions?
Training Sessions will be hosted the day before the User Group Summit on Monday, October 14th.
Where are the sessions located?
The Training Sessions will be held at the same location as the User Group Summit – the Opal Grand Resort in Delray Beach, FL. Additional details and the booking link can be found here.
Who should attend?
Two options are available – a New User Training and an Admin Training.
New User Training is recommended for newer AvSight users – those with less than a year of experience – who would like pure AvSight training.
Admin Training is for admins and SMEs looking to boost their AvSight specific admin and setup skills. Attendees should be experienced AvSight users with a solid understanding of the platform. This program is designed to advance your admin skills, but is not a substitute for Salesforce Trailhead admin modules. There’s just too much to cover for a single day training.

Do I have to be an AvSight user to attend?
Yes. These training sessions are for current AvSight users only.
A limited number of non-user spots are available for the User Group Summit. Industry partners and consultants who are interested in being a part of the AvSight User Group Summit should inquire about non-user registration by emailing marketing@inscaletech.com.
Please note – if you are not an AvSight User and register for a session for which you do not qualify, your registration will be cancelled and refunded. Credit card processing fees incurred by AvSight in processing and refunding your transaction will be subtracted from your final refund amount.
Will I need my laptop? What else should I bring?
We’re going to be covering a lot – so we recommend bringing a pen and notebook or device for note taking. Training will be hands on. Access to your own AvSight sandbox is recommended for New User Training and required for Admin Training. To ensure that all features are available, please make sure that your sandbox is running the most recent version of AvSight and that you have super-admin access in your sandbox environment.
Granting permission levels in sandbox environments does not grant those same permission levels in production environments, therefore your admin should be willing to set you as a sandbox super-admin regardless of the permission levels that you have in your company’s AvSight production environment.
Upgrade requests can take some time to process, especially at times when there is a large volume of requests. Please make sure your upgrade request is submitted several weeks before User Group.
What is the hotel group rate? When do I have to book by?
We’ve negotiated a rate of $239/night for conference attendees and a discounted resort fee of $20/night. The resort fee includes self parking and many other amenities.
There are a limited number of rooms available, so we recommend booking early. The rate extends until the block is full or until September 13th.
Do I have to stay at the hotel?
No, we understand that South Florida is home to a lot of our colleagues in the aviation industry, and you may prefer to commute each day. If it’s a longer drive or you’re coming from elsewhere, we do encourage you to stay at the Opal Grand Resort – it will make networking and transportation so much easier! But you are also welcome to make your own arrangements. There are a number of other lodging options in Delray Beach.
How should I travel there? Will I need a rental car?
The closest airport to Delray Beach is West Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) – about a 25 minute drive away. Another option is Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) – about a 40 minute drive away. All training and networking activities hosted by AvSight will be at the hotel or in close proximity, so you may wish to get there using a rideshare service.
If you choose to drive, parking is available at the hotel. Self parking is included in your stay. For local attendees who will not be staying onsite, we have negotiated daily parking rates of $20 for self parking and $30 for valet parking.
The Opal Grand resort is located in close proximity to everything Delray Beach has to offer. A number of dining and entertainment options are within short walking distance, as is the ocean. The town of Delray Beach offers free transportation by electric golf care to many venues in the surrounding area.

What kind of programming should I expect?
Training Sessions will focus on hands-on trainings and will follow the same curriculum as the training sessions that can be purchased through AvSight’s Professional Services department. These sessions are designed to provide a solid foundation of AvSight knowledge and how-tos.

How do Training Sessions differ from the User Group Summit?
The simple answer is that Training Sessions focus on the “how” while User Group Summit is focused more on the “why”.
Training Sessions are focused on pure training and will provide concrete guidance on how to do things in AvSight. User Group Sessions will dive more into processes and the art of the possible. It will also incorporate many more opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas with other users.

Should I attend the User Group Summit if I'm also attending training?
In most cases, we think so. The events work together beautifully. Trainings provide a solid foundation of pure knowledge, while the User Group Summit will help you build on that knowledge and think bigger by learning from other users and the AvSight team. We also think the AvSight User Group Summit is one of the best aviati0n networking events out there!
But we do understand that some users are more interested in pure training at this point in their AvSight journey. If you’re one of them, a standalone training ticket might be the best experience for you.

Is there a remote option?
These events will be hosted live and in person only. If you would like to have remote training for your team, our Professional Services department can provide a quote for this service.
Why aren't Training Sessions included in the User Group Summit pricing?
We consider the User Group Summit and these Training Sessions to be separate events. At the request of our customers, we have chosen to host them in the same location and around the same time to provide a convenient experience for those who would like to attend both events.
Training is a service that would typically be purchased at an hourly rate through our Professional Services department. Live trainings give us the option to provide those services at a much lower rate, making them more accessible to small businesses and companies that may only have a couple employees in need of training.
Adding additional facilities and catering greatly increases the cost of the event. Rather than passing this cost along to all attendees, we feel that it’s most fair to give our customers the option to choose which events they would like to participate in.
Add on tickets are available at a reduced rate for customers who would like to attend the User Group Summit and a training session. Please note, combo tickets cannot be split and must be used by a single individual.

Registration
How do I register?
Do I need to register in advance?
Yes. To maximize personal training time, these sessions will offered in a small group setting, and spaces are extremely limited. We recommend registering as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
What is the cost?
New User Training is $399/attendee and Admin Training is $499/attendee.
We are offering registrants who would also like to attend the User Group Summit a discount of $100 on a combo ticket.
We view sessions as an investment in our customers and want to enable as many as possible to attend. These rates only cover a portion of the expenses incurred in hosting this event and are significantly lower than typical training rates.
Can I purchase a combo ticket to be shared between two attendees?
No. Discounted rates are only applicable to tickets that will be used by a single individual.
What is included in the cost?
Your registration fee covers a full day of intensive hands on AvSight training and breakfast and lunch on the training day.
I've already purchased a standalone ticket. Can I change to a combo ticket?
Yes. Just email marketing@inscaletech.com and we’ll be happy to assist you with changing your ticket. You will still qualify for the discounted rate.
My plans have changed - can I cancel or transfer my registration?
Registration fees are not refundable. If your team would like to send a different employee, we can transfer your registration to them at no cost.
