As our CSM was shadowing us, she was able to point out simple adjustments that made life so much easier. It really helped our team work as efficiently as possible, and has helped us train new team members using best practices.” Moreno explains.

Projects with Real Impact

An Auto-Quoting System That Paid for Itself
The challenge: Like many aviation suppliers, V1 Aero receives a staggering number of RFQs on a daily basis. This made it impossible to respond to each one and created a lot of noise that made it easy to miss their most valuable requests.
The solution: V1 Aero worked with the AvSight team to develop an auto-quoting flow to automatically action Make Offer and No Quote responses. “It filters out the noise and allows us to respond to the real opportunities more quickly. It’s like having another full-time team member,” said Martinez.
This not only helped the team focus their efforts on higher ROI opportunities, but also led to a number of sales on Make Offers. “We experienced a massive lift in quoting volume and conversions.” says Moreno. “We realized an ROI on the project in just a few weeks.”.

Customer Consignment Portal
The challenge: Consignment management was a fairly manual process for the V1 Aero Team. Each day they would have to prepare a spreadsheet for each consignment partner updating them on inventory, sales, and repairs. This was both time consuming and did not enable partners to see their inventory in real time.
The solution: V1 Aero used AvSight’s Customer Portal functionality to build a self service interface that allows consignors to check on their inventory and see changes in real time, whenever they want.
They also customized the portal to allow customers to have more control over their inventory, Moreno explains “Many of our consignors work in very specific areas of the business and are experts in their niche. We’re selling the inventory on their behalf, but we want to make sure they have control and can put their expertise to work. So we added a simple, but powerful feature – a comment box that allows them to interact with individual inventory lines. Now they can easily give us direction like ‘send this for repair’ or ‘send this for exchange’ and we’re notified immediately.”
